I recently participated in a renovation challenge with Jeffrey Court and 11 other designers. \u00a0It was a crazy 6 week experience, and we DIYed every step of the way.<\/p>\n
I remodeled my daughter\u2019s bathroom that she shares with our guest room. \u00a0Here is a before of the space:<\/p>\n

The space wasn\u2019t horrible, but it was so bland. \u00a0I wanted my daughter to have a bathroom that reflects her fun personality. Everything in this remodel (except for the wallpaper) was found at The Home Depot, and I am in love with it all!<\/p>\n

I have removed enough tile to know you want to select tile you will love for a LONG time. The demo process is very hard and very messy, so much consideration went into the tile selection. I selected:<\/p>\n
I have major commitment issues when it comes to design, so I wanted to select a wall tile that I would love for a long time. I chose the classic subway tile, but I changed things up and had fun with the pattern.<\/p>\n
The white octagon tile for the floor is such a classic look, and I was in love with it at first sight. \u00a0Now, I do love color, so I added color through wallpaper (and wallpaper is MUCH easier to change the tile)!<\/p>\n

One either side of the mirror, are the gorgeous Minka Lavery Harbour Point Liberty Gold Bath Lights<\/a>. \u00a0I love the clean, modern lines of the light fixtures and the gold patina is so pretty.<\/p>\n The mirror is the Avanity Sonama 28\u2033x 39\u2033 framed wall mirror in nickel<\/a>. I love the simplicity of the mirror and it fits the space well.<\/p>\n The faucet is the Delta Cassidy Widespread 2-handle bathroom faucet<\/a> in the gorgeous champaign bronze finish. \u00a0I used the kitchen faucet version in our kitchen remodel last year.<\/p>\n The bathroom was designed around the gorgeous navy vanity. \u00a0It\u2019s the Martha Stewart Living Lynn 60\u2033 x 22\u2033 vanity in Midnight Blue<\/a>. \u00a0It has a luxurious Carrara marble countertop with double bevel edges.
